Expectations

MISSION:

The mission of Applause Talent Agency is to develop, showcase, and promote top-quality talent for film, television, and new media in local and national markets.
Applause Talent Agency (ATA) is an SAG-certified actors’ agency, and requires prospective clients to have acting experience, proper motivation, and ongoing training to pursue a productive acting career.

WHAT TALENT EXPECTS FROM APPLAUSE TALENT AGENCY:

  • To stay current with acting opportunities for all active clients.
  • Consideration for all experienced actors that have the motivation and the necessary means to advance their acting careers.
  • Access to Breakdown Services, and Now Casting the leading nationwide talent casting services.

WHAT APPLAUSE TALENT AGENCY EXPECTS FROM TALENT:

  • Keep in touch. If availability or contact information changes, call or email us immediately
  • We're not an employment agency. We make opportunities available to you, but it is your responsibility to show up on time and perform at an audition; to present yourself well, and get hired by the production company. We'll provide you with as much "inside information" as we have, but, in the end, it is all on you.
  • Keep learning! There are several low-cost acting classes available in our area, and we do our best to let you know about them on our news blog. Besides adding the experience to your resumé, you'll get to meet many great people who will help you along.
  • Because the Agency asks for no initial fee, it is your responsibility to provide Applause Talent Agency with acceptable professional headshots and resumes. We cannot represent you properly unless we have these upon signing a contract.  ATA receives a standard 10% commission for theatrical work and 20% for any print work.
