Applause Talent Agency has held an excellent reputation in the Southwest for over 19 years. This distinction has been supported by high standards and an exclusivity that comes from the careful selection of the actors it represents.

In order to be accepted into the ranks of Applause Talent Agency actors, there is a certain level of achievement and preparedness that needs to take place.

There are several categories of talent that Applause represents, and the need to add actors to certain categories fluctuates.

HOW TO SUBMIT:

Requests for consideration to be represented by Applause Talent Agency will ONLY be accepted by email.

Included in your email toApplause Talent Agency as attachments should be a cover letter, two recommendations, and your headshots in the formats outlined in the following descriptions.

Cover Letter:

Please write a cover letter introducing yourself with an objective statement of intent, declaring your interests and aspirations for where you want to be in your career in three years.

Recommendations:

Please provide two letters of recommendation that speak to your talent and experience levels, as well as your professionalism and on-set or stage etiquette.

Resume:

Using the "Sample Resume" in the "Info for Talent" section of this website as a guide, list all your relevant experience ( paid and unpaid ) including background and extra work, training and special skills.


* Your resume should be only one page.

* Put your newest projects first, remove outdated or irrelevant material.

* Make headings for Film, New Media, Television, Commercials, Print, and Theater. Also list your Training and Special Skills.

* Under each heading, put your listings in three columns (from left to right):

Formats for Cover Letters, Recommendations, & Resumes:

* Only MS Word documents ( doc or docx ) or Adobe PDF files accepted.

Headshot(s)

* Well lit & well composed color photographs.

* Large and clear enough that your features and appearance can assessed.

* The images must look like you. ( The Agency does not want the casting director(s) to say, 'You don't look like the headshots that were submitted.' )

* Please have someone else take the photos of you for submission.

* At least 150 pixels per inch, and less than 3 megabytes.

* JPG or PNG formats are acceptable for initial submission.

* No snapshots, candids, cellphone photos, school portraits, or mugshots. Please do not submit self portraits, "duck-face", images taken in a mirror, etc.
