Laura Mathis is a professional actress and acting teacher. She was voted Best Acting Coach in the Albuquerque the Magazine’s “Best of the City Awards” for 2009 at her Acting School, Sol Acting Academy! In Albuquerque, among other exciting activities, she has done Voice Over work, worked on set for In Plain Sight and other Film Productions, and was on set most recently working with Bill Murray and Mickey Roarke in the movie Passion Play. She has been involved in theatre, film, commercials and television for over 15 years. You can see her most recent commercial for Santa Ana Star Casino on TV these days! After graduating with an Honors BA from the Theatre and Drama Studies Program in Toronto Canada, she toured with Mad Science Productions performing educational and entertaining science shows across North America.
